Carl: definitely not quitting!! Still have the Monte Carlo GTA/GT2 car, love that ride, my first, if you know what I mean. Troy at TRB Autosport is building me a new Mike Cope chassis TA2 Camaro, will be racing Trans Am and SCCA as time permits. Still trying to decide on Sonoma...although I just finished watching NASCAR at Sonoma...that was awesome! Nothing like seeing stock cars wheeling around a road course!!

That's good! Hope to see you at Sonoma or VIR in 2019. I'm racing East of the Rockies 2019. Looking forward to back to back weekend races in Florida so I can fish during the week. We may meet again...
Oh some of my compatriots on the westcoast do the westcoast transam. I might try 1 or 2 on the east in 2019 just to say I tried it. On the west Oli got our C5's ok'ed for TA4 or 3 in out SCCA touring class/specCorvette trim

Sweet!! I'm sure our paths will cross again - at least a few times, soon!! That is great about TA4/3!!! I really would like to do the back to back FL races - those would be a blast....you know what track I want to go back and run again, though? DAYTONA!!! It's unfortunate that I'm going to be in Japan in November this year - was planning on doing the back to back COTA / Daytona Trans Am races...

This is a GTA Howe chassis with the new 2011 gen5 body. This car is the first TA2 Camaro to run TransAm TA2. The car debuted at Sebring 2011 and took 1st. Gregg Rodgers of Pinnacle Autosports was the driver/owner/builder.
Unfortunately, Sonoma/Runoffs does not look to be in the cards for this year...

Too bad! Hope to see you next year in Florida. Your car is a steal of a price! I'm too old and slow for your power to weight. LOL! Bad joints and slowing reflexes...T4 is looking pretty good to me right now.
