Default 1990 zr1 $8500****update**** car runs good nows. Sold sold

Fs 1990 zr1. $9200.00 54k clean sold sold!titleI just purchased this 90z. Im not going into a long sob story but i bought this car hoping to fix it up a little cosmetically and enjoy her. Unfortunately the guy i bought it from wasnt truthfull with me and the car either needs injectors or fuel pumps. It sat for a long time and the guy (older) didnt know much about it. It runs and drives but not like a z should. I really didn't want a car i had to do tons of mechanical work to ( i know i shouldn't of bought it if i didnt want to work on it.) I dont mind small jobs and no one local knows anything about it. I have 9200 in the car down to the penny and thats with a decent set of goodyear tires. If you dont want the tires its 8900. Price is firm. Car has 54k miles clean carfax 2 owners. Car needs work its a project. Title is open and signed by the person that last had it registered all you do is sign it, If you dont like that move on. Paint is decent has some spots, driver bolster needs attention. Radio is bad i think. Tires are shot (i have a good used set) cheapest zr1 on the market with those miles. Car has sat for a while
update! Replaced the coils and the car runs great. Injectors have been replaced. Still for sale

I am not 100% sure it needs injectors or fuel pumps. It ran decent when i drove it home 2 miles but once it warmed up it ran horrible. I dont know much about this car. Worst part of the car

Sorry to hear about your bad luck on this car purchase. The color combo of the paint and seats look great. However, with the worn condition of exterior and interior, and the unknowns wrong with the car's engine, your'e asking a lot. Keep in mind, it could cost the new owner a lot of $$$ to repair. You'd definitely sell it quickly priced below $5K

Should be an easy fix...fix it up and enjoy it.

$5k for a quick sale...that would be a very quick sale. This is cheap at what it is priced at as long as no valves are burnt.

I ran the carfax cause I was interested but can't come up with the funds. Guys this car has only been driven a few hundred miles since 2010 and only looks to have had a couple owners. Car was from Oregon. This looks this could be a sweet z for somebody.

I would do that, to be honest. Plus, if you decide to sell later on, you'll get more with it running good

Suggest you nurse it to the nearest O'Reily's or similar and get a diagnostic check.....could be as simple as a new EGR or a tuneup....but find out the problem before you sacrifice the beauty..... Also....tail lights on that car look like '91 or newer.....just sayin'.....check title for sure.

All Zr-1's had those tail lights. Regular Corvettes got them in 91 with the bumper change.

I have the same car with 45k miles. Fix it and enjoy it. Get on the ZR-1 forum and on ZR1 net. Should be a simple fix.
That is a steal at $9000, I would love to have it but I just bought a 96 Collector LT4 coupe.

My ‘95 Z had sat for over 8 years and had a bad crank sensor I believe, it ran but not good until that was fixed.

Good luck whatever you decide.
