Default This should buff out....

Got the car back today, good as new!!
So I was working Sunday night and get a call around 4:45am from a coworker. He says, I hate to tell you this but I backed into your Vette. I told him to stop playing around and he said no I’m serious I did. Again, I said stop messing with me and he says I feel horrible. I told him I would be right there. The funny part is I was parked in the middle of the parking lot with lots of spaces around and of course he hits me. Gotta love trailer hitches. No biggie, dropped it off at the body shop today.

It's difficult to tell-try buffing it out though.

Really need a picture that's closer. The picture looks like your lower rear fascia is indented. If it is, no buffing out....

At least he was honest and owned up to it! A Toyota Tundra punched his hitch through my friend's C5 in his wife's parking lot at work. Same friend had an Escalade back up onto his hood when the light turned green at a stoplight (apparently a teen driver somehow knocked it into reverse just as she hit the gas).

I agree!! Happened yesterday, he had the claim set up that day through his insurance, dropped it off today and picked up the rental

As far as damage goes, that's a pretty good place to take a bump, as opposed to some other areas.

Relax.

It's a long-standing joke around here. Somebody posts a photo of a car that's been totaled and invariably someone else will chime in with variations of "That'll buff right out."

A little Zaino will take care of that.
A little elbow grease, and it'll be as good as new.

etc. etc....

OP....I like your attitude. Some guys around here would go ballistic and all but declare WWIII on the guy and would cry about it for days. It will be fixed so that you'll never know it happened.

You DO have a good attitude. I'll throw in my "joke": just fill it with Gorilla Glue (the Flex Seal one was already taken).

Good luck with the car.

On replay, you have a GREAT attitude. I might not... scratch that...would like to imitate that response of yours.
