Default anyone want a true barn find?

https://sacramento.craigslist.org/ct...620723011.html

I wonder if it still has the original fuel injected engine??? It was rode hard and put away wet. It was raced at one point.

That looks very interesting.....wonder what the bottom dollar is on it. I think 26.5k is a bit high, unless the car is turned back into a drag car and parts/originality is out the window. If I had it, I would go with the 'period drag' look for sure.

That was my thought. Some bass boat metalflake, a squished nose, and a blown period small block poking through the hood. Topped off with some Hurst pie-crust slicks out back on Haldibrands.....yuuup!

Looks like almost nothing original under that hood.

Maybe the master cylinder.

The workmanship is sloppy enough to almost guarantee that a whole host of Bubbas lived under that hood.

thats a mess. Love the one screw holding the voltage regulator and the coil laying down between the valve cover and intake.

That can't be real...there is no way that many Bubba adulterations found their way under one hood....someone is messing with us

Don’t you think that’s being awfully picky?

But then again, that’s a big difference between your finished cars.

Maybe you’re a buyer?

Looks like it was stored in a wet barn, based on the engine pic. Very wet.
Not good for frame related stuff.

Agree with WMF that it has FI air cleaner holes.

Also, looking at that organizational mess under the hood, i wonder what other indescribable horrors were done to the car.
My car, which i first put togetehr at 17 YO, and with almost no money, looked a lot better organized than that under the hood.

Ha, you should see under mine! I fixed the safety related ones, but it still gets plenty of laughs.

Beat me to it. Also, check for a hole behind the distributor for the tach cable...There are other things to check, as well, but are slipping my mind. Unbelievably hacked under that hood....I've never seen an upper radiator hose routed more poorly.

Yeah, its such a straight shot betwixt the rad inlet and Tstat outlet.
I guess he didn't have knife handy to shorten the hose.

I'm sure it must be something else, but it sure likes like a red battery cable on the front of the engine...

I am sure thats the battery ground to the intake manifold. Methinks a LOT of free , used parts were used on that car.
