Phoenix Area f45 delete.
Looking to see if anyone in the Phoenix area has a tech 2 to program out the f45 on my 99. The Vette Culture shop here said they won't do that kind of work anymore and I've called probably 20 different shops around here and no one will do it. Thought it would be easier then doing the resistors just need to find someone with the programmer which is like trying to find kryptonite apparently.

Most shops say they don't do any programming work. The Vette Culture shop said they wont do programming work anymore and before I could ask them to refer me somewhere they hung up on me.

Just went ahead and purchased the resistors. New to this forum. Can anyone post a link on installing the 10w 10ohm resistors. I have a soldering kit and only spent 10 bucks for a pack of 10 resistors. This is probably cheaper then going to anyplace to do programming.

I have used this shop for several repairs. Had them use the TEC 2 tool to flush the brakes on the '04.

I'll try giving them a call. Just curious, how does the suspension handle being disconnected. Haven't installed aftermarket shocks yet and was curious what these shocks (f45) will do when they receive no input from the bcm.

You could try asking on the local forum in the service/repair section as well. Someone on there has one and they would be willing to help out I bet.

You gotta get in good with the Vette Techs at the dealers. I used to sell Chevrolets, and every time I went out back, tech Vette was either talking to a Vette owner or a Camaro owner for advise or actual work needed to be done.
