Who is going to Corvettes @ Carlisle?
I am just wondering who is planning to go to Corvettes at Carlisle?
IT has been suggested that this would be the best place to find a Rochester FI lid and manifold / baseplate for a 63-65 system.
I have the plenum.
For those that have been to Corvettes at Carlisle recently (in the last 5 years or so), have you seen many loose 1963 -1965 Rochester Fuel Injection
parts for sale?
I would love to go, and I am trying to figure out how to make that happen, but I don't recall seeing many Rochester FI loose parts during the many years that I attended.
Thoughts?
Ed

Will be there like always. You just never know what you might find. But for that part you best be there on Wednesday when the gates open and keep looking until Friday afternoon.

I'll be there as I have for about 34 years. John Degregory always has a booth there. If he doesn't have what you need, I'm sure he can get it.

A few years ago, a sudden, severe earthquake erupted under JD's trailer. Trailer rocking side to side and fuel injections almost falling off the shelves. Came close to having many small parts but the quake settle down quickly.

I plan to have my 64 there.
Last year, broke down 2/3 the way there.
Year before, the car was in pieces.

While all the swaps are down, Carlisle is definitely your best chance at finding something.
Maybe the needle in the haystack will show up at Bloomington tomorrow.

Flying out from California again. Meeting a couple of pals in Detroit and driving down. Like others have said, go to the swap meet all the days cause new stuff shows up every day. Bought my best stuff on day 3 of the show last year.
Good luck in your search.

Been there every year since 1987. I agree with the good advice others have given you - John Degregory is your best bet, and see him Wednesday if possible. Anyway, the earlier, the better. Good luck.

I started my 59 project last week and for sure will be there. I go almost every year. As far as fuel injections go, I passed up a complete 64 unit 2 or 3 yrs ago for 4k. Had no use for it, shoulda bought it anyway... My advice- bring cash.... lots of it.
