For some folks, opening and closing the C6/C7 Corvette door from the outside can be a wee bit of a challenge. It takes a little practice to understand what’s going on with the button access. Where is it? How much pressure is required? Someone with long nails may find it especially tricky. And some may just prefer the traditional feel of a handle when opening a car door. With its patent-pending design, the Corvette Door Dog makes opening the C6/C7 door a breeze. Just pull back the handle like you would on any other car.
And where do you push to close the door? On the door? On the window? Either way, you get fingerprints! With a Corvette Door Dog installed, you can now close your C6/C7 door without getting fingerprints on the door and glass. Simply push against the handle to close your door.
Looking for another way to customize your C6/C7? Now you can add door handles to your list of customization items!
The standard handle included with the Corvette Door Dog is made from aircraft-grade aluminium alloy and is powder coated in satin black. Use them as is or paint to match (or contrast) your car accent colors. We will soon offer other handle styles that can be mounted on the Corvette Door Dog. Never had any problem opening doors on my current C7 Z06, or previous C6 Z06. You mean it's difficult to press the pad, and close without fingerprints ?
If those actions are tough, must be impossible to drive the car.
