Default 2001 Z06 Silver/black

I'm thinking it's time to sell my Z06. I love the car but I don't drive it anymore. This is a third car for me and that's a lot of cars for one person so I figure I should let it go to someone who will use it as it is meant to be used.

55.5k miles. Carfax lists a minor incident involving the car being struck by debris. Previous owner states that the car was struck by an object that flew off another car in the right front fender and that it was replaced and he could not tell the difference. Nor can I. Link to post. Link to thread.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves in terms of condition but mods are as follows:

Callaway Honker intake (custom painted)
TPiS throttle body
FAST 90mm Intake
Kooks 1 7/8" ceramic coated headers with no cats (stock titanium exhaust)
Tune
Elite engineering catch can
LS7 clutch (less than 10k miles on it)
ARP Flywheel and pressure plate bolts
Remote bleeder
MGW shifter w/c6 ****
dimpled/slotted rotors with ebc red pads
SS brake lines
Radioflyer HID headlights
blackout turn signals (I have originals)
Pioneer door/rear speakers
no drill splash/rock guards
HUD from an 02 Z06
Skip shift eliminator
Column lock bypass
Flasher fix
Brand new Michelin PS2 tires. Less than 500 miles on them, Bought last summer.

I have a new kenwood bluetooth HU that I'm gonna install if/when I have the time. If not it comes with the car anyway. Has a crutchfield ready hardness so it should be plug and play.

I have the painted "corvette" filler piece for the front plate.

Car makes 403RWHP and needs absolutely nothing. Just get in and enjoy.

I'm asking $17,000. OBO. I'm a reasonable guy. All reasonable offers will be considered.

Thanks for looking

Any accident history or paint/body repair? First pic the fender lower half looks brighter than the door/rocker, but it could be the angle between the panels at that location.

I noticed that too after I posted it. It must be the angle.

Please see post #1 for accident history. There was a minor incident but it was on the other side of the car.

Here's a couple more pics I took last summer...err spring judging by the trees lol!

And this one was taken by the person I bought it from in Missouri when he listed it up for sale.

I'd be happy to take more pictures if you're interested. The only thing that really annoys me about the car is the brake duct vents are aftermarket carbon fiber pieces and they are a little chipped up. I always intended to get OEM replacements.

I take it you still have the Impala?

It's funny, I haven't logged in here in a very long time and I see this thread. I remember when you bought the car and stopped for the night in PA. Its been years since I have seen it but the car was very nice and I am sure it still is.

Hey! I was just thinking about you and the rest of the LS1GTO Vette guys the other day lol!

Yeah I still have the Impala. I would never sell that car. I've decided to downsize and keep the Impala and use some of the money from this to make some upgrades and keep me happy. Between work and a relationship being added to my life I just don't have the time for all these cars lol!

Funny how priorities change...

I saw some of them at the GM Nationals this summer in Carlisle. However, only one of them did I hang out and speak with.

I would absolutely keep the Impala. Just not many of them out there like yours.

After moving to Florida I sold my Vette, both motorcycle, bought another house, had a 3 year old little girl and drive a Ram 1500! I did pick up a nice little F-Body last month that I'm doing some work to. But you're so right, priorities have changed.

I have had my head under this C5 and I never saw anything out of the norm and couldn't tell anything had ever happened ed to it. The car was nice and solid. Nobody should be afraid to buy it.

Yeah, I'd never find another one like it. Just turned 35k miles, I bought it with 18k.

I remember all of that except the baby lol! Congratulations! Things keep going the way they are and I'll probably be in the same boat in a couple of years.

Thanks for vouching for the car I appreciate it. Maybe you can let them know over on that other site since I'm kinda banned

I lost your number man. If I'm ever down your way we should get beers.

I don't really post over there anymore. Probably has been at least a year + that I have posted.

If your car was for sale 6 weeks ago I would have probably bought it.

I will shoot you a PM.
