Default Hasn't been started in 7 years! Any tips?

My 1988 vette has been sitting all this time and I finally am going to get back to it. Any recommendations as to steps to take before I try to crank it over? Thanks for any info. I'm anxious to return it to the road. Some of my best days were in that machine ! Thanks in advance, Jim

fresh fluids, fresh fuel - new fuel filter, pull plugs and lube cylinders and spin over by hand. Pull distributor and prime oil pump if you are up to it. Otherwise crank away and say a prayer.

The blue springs should not require replacement.

Charge the battery and see if it will start, if so then go drive it, otherwise fix it.
