If you continue to have a problem, post up in the C5 Tech section and maybe someone over there can give you some guidance/recommendations. That is unless you can troubleshoot/repair the system yourself.

Just to add a bit of a silver lining to your dark cloud, if it turns out to be a "big" leak, big leaks are generally much easier to find.

Look for oily residue, indicates leak. Or use a leak detector.

I'm an HVAC engineer but working on these cars is a bit of a pain..much easier with a nice big chiller or split system. Its still cooling so I'm going to wait a bit. Put the gauges on again when I have time.

interesting. I’m a Refrigeration mechanic myself, well recently retired. I agree, I’d much rather work on a grocery store, or big chiller, than a car. Don’t much care for working on appliances either, everything is made of plastic instead of brass, and my fingers are too big. LoL. May all your leaks be easy ones. LoL.

Could put the sniffer on it. Once had a compressor on my c4 stop working..after many days found the 2 wires that go to the compressor had frayed and touched right down where they go in..covered with grease so not easy to see. if its the schrader then I get to use the fancy core removal tool.
