Default 2006 velocity yellow H/C Z06 SOLDQ

UPDATE: CAR HAS BEEN SOLD

Considering selling my 2006 corvette z06. Has 24,000 miles (will slowly go up). Sold my shelby gt350 for this vehicle, and I am considering switching back. Car is tastefully modified and looks great.
modifications include:
-wcch ported and fixed heads
-custom grind cam (yes I have specs)
-Callaway CAI
-b&m shifter
-Hurst line lock (never used and currently disconnected)
-full engine-back billy boat exhaust with hiflow cats, fusion 3 mufflers, and qtp cutouts in front of axleback.
-custom Apsis racing seats with yellow accents
-rollbar with sfi certified harnesses
-eagle eyes taillights
- new kenwood radio
-LG motorsports GT2 coilovers (ride smooth as stock and give the car an awesome look and handling)
-MSD ignition coils
-WCC 946 chromed forged aluminum 3-piece 20inch wheels wrapped with NITTO INVO tires 275F and 345R
-upgraded clutch. Not sure what exact product but it bites hard and is pleasant enough to use in traffic though stiffer than stock for sure
-LG motorsports stage 3 differential with 3.90 gears. Perfect all around gears for the t56 and tr6060 transmissions.
-more that's not listed

Most of these things were installed when I purchased the car. Ive added a few things such as radio, ceramic window tint, changed alternator, spark plugs, plug wires, etc. It made 560rwhp on the dyno and will easily make 575-590 with a new intake manifold and throttle body along with tune revision.

The vette is a SUPER fun car and honestly blows the mustang off of the road in every way, BUT I enjoy driving my cars a nice long distance once or twice a year for big carshows, and the vette is nowhere near the shelby in terms of comfort. It rides great but doesnt compare to the mustang magride suspension.

located in Oklahoma

$34.5k obo.

Bump bump.

also, I can put the factory radio head unit back in the car for buyer if they wish.

will lower price if buyer has wheels/tires for vehicle so that I can keep the forged wheels.

either way, price is negotiable to certain extent.

thanks.

As someone who owned a C6Z and is considering a 350, curious why you’re switching back?

As much as I love the vette and how it outperforms the 350 in every way, I think I have just become spoiled to the luxury of the more modern car when it comes down to it. I dont mind the noise and rougher ride of the vette at all...until I go on a 2 hour cruise or any long distance drive. I had planned to have this car sound insulated as the 2006 is the only year that has none. Then received a bs reckless driving ticket and had to hire a lawyer to get out of it. The local cops also do not seem to like loud, yellow vettes. Those are the only reasons I would like to switch back. The social stigma of "anyone with a vette is a rich ******* or an old guy in jeanshorts" from the cops is getting old rather quickly. The combination of these things has made me want to switch back into a car that gets less attention (weird how the gt350 that is quite a bit more expensive doesnt have the bad stigma from people.. in my experience that is)

with a buyer that is willing to use their own wheels, I can drop down to $35k. When it comes to moving anymore on price, I would have to be talking to a serious buyer to move anymore.

I think I look pretty snazzy in my jean shorts!!! Especially when I wear my white belt and white shoes.

Haha I think I need to invest in some Jean shorts for car meets. Already have the white shoes to go with them!

Also, for anyone wondering why I made the price drop, I'm attempting to sell the vehicle faster than I had originally planned. Found an absolutely perfect boss 302 that I am itching to get my hands on if the vette happens to sell. Thanks guys

Bump. Still for sale guys. Had a few MSD coils fail from a bad harness. Replaced the harness and replaced all coils with OEM as I've seen so many people have issues with MSD.

I am also installing the factory heated seats and getting rid of the race seats in a week or so.

Have invoices for all aftermarket parts installed. Many more parts than what is listed on my post, most of which being aesthetic parts or supporting mods for the other modifications.

Nice car. GLWS.
I also had a 06Z in VY. I sold it to build a house. Then bought a GT350 Track Pack and then sold it for a GT350R. The Z was fun and fast but lacks the soul of the Voodoo and didn’t handle as well. The R has better steering, better shifter, and better sound. I would put another C6Z in my garage but not to replace the GT350R.

agree 100%. The HCI Z is definitely meaner than the voodoo but with exhaust and e85 tuning, the voodoo comes close. And the voodoo is one of the strongest engines out there for boost. On ignite red e90, they are holding 1500whp on twins and stock engine. Would have never sold if I'd have bought a track pack. The overheating issues of the tech pack made me sell. Miss that car like crazy haha. The Z and the GT350 have no doubt been my favorite cars to have owned.
