Production to delivery
My dad has a 2019 Z ordered. Today is suppouse to be production week. If it does start this week, what kind of time frame without any variables will the car be done and delivered to dealership? Just looking for a estimate, ballpark.

My 2019 Z06/Z07 was ordered on 4/26/18, built on 7/10/18, and my dealer told me it will be delivered tomorrow (Sarasota, FL).

Depends where the dealer is located from the factory. In my case it sat on the train in the rail yard for a few days, then about a week from the rail yard to CA. Then it sat in the transportation yard for 2 days, and one day to the dealer and one day for them to prep the car. About two weeks in my case. If the dealer is closer, then could be about a week. It could be torturous and anywhere from one to three weeks on average. Lots of variables. Congrats!

Mike would be the best and most knowledgeable source of information on the delivery date. He delivers more Corvettes than anybody and is always very helpful. FYI when I ordered mine in spring of 2016 from my local dealer, it was ordered on March 11, produced on April 4 and delivered April 14. But when I placed the order the sales manager was kind enough to call another dealer and trade for a close- to-production allocation so that helped me a lot. -Bob

Mine was delivered to the dealership yesterday, or 6 days after it was built. I’m picking it up tomorrow afternoon post PDI as they need to install the stage 2 aero and clean it up. Paperwork was done today.

No, I spoke with Mike when I was shopping, but I ended up buying from a local dealer in Sarasota as they offered a competitive discount. Not quite as aggressive as the big 3, but competitive.
