This car looks like it's what you're looking for. It's on the auction list for Mecum-Kissimmee in early January. FL is a long way from home for you but January is a good time to get out of the northern climates for a week. Good luck.

That car sold for tens of thousands less than the Mecum's car at $79,200.00, of course, some get caught up in the heat of an auction and may be willing to pay the Marina Blue surtax. The Elkhart Blue at $55,000.00 from the pictures looks about the same in condition. I suppose it came or comes down to paint color, what premium you put on numbers matching engine vs NOM period correct and if you like bolt-ons vs modern mags. Personally, I'm not a fan of 4:11 rears I had a 68 Barracuda 340 formula S with 3:90 and constantly running hot when hotdogging it in Maryland Hwys.

That's about my speed may be a little less or more. Without sounding to chauvinistic, Corvettes are like women in many ways at least mine were and having been married to them twice before, I'm just getting back into the dating game and not ready for a long term commitment. Sadly you usually pass up the best when that is said, and that may be the case with yours. Although I know these cars fairly well, I've not been in the game since the days of Corvette Fever Magazine, Vette Vues Magazine when it was a dollar and Al Knoch doing shows at Corvette Expo in the late '70s. So I think because this will be my last Corvette and it's destined for retirement and cruising around the Mediterranean, I'm going to take my time. At that price, it should move quickly, and I'll add another regret to my many others.

All the way on the east coast, but this car looks nice & hits your main criteria.
