a thank you thread
just a simple thread to thank all the people who post up the process in which they fix their cars at home. This weekend i replaced the clutch on my base c6 M6. Now i do not consider myself to be heavily mechanically inclined. I do the normal stuff, oil changes, brake pad, etc... But a clutch job on a car like this, never would of considered it. thanks to this forum and lots of research and some youtube videos i was able to do it with my car on jack stands and the help of a friend (getting the torque tube out alone seems to be quite a task).
But thanks to all you guys writing up tutorials and "how to's" they really do come in handy. it took me all day saturday and pretty much sunday too. i had to rent from my local automotive store a pull hammer, torque wrench, and the pilot bearing remover. nonetheless, thanks everyone.

I agree. More times than I can count have I dug up some 10 year old thread that still has pics and it helps me finish a job. I think a lot of people don't realize the 10 seconds it takes to share a small piece of info about a build can help someone immensely in the future!

Great job bud! Don't even think I'd tackle something like that. I do agree that these forums are amazing. Wealth of knowledge here. Learned so much since joining after getting my first C6 a couple years ago.
