So glad I bought the CLB!
Before even getting my c5 I read up on these cars in the forum and one of the most frequent recommendations to new c5 owners is getting the CLB kit. Today I can say I'm very thankful for the recommendation as my car locked up on me at a parking lot today and I was able to perform the modification within an hour. Thanks guys!

Amen to that! This forum saved me when I got stuck at my fire station all locked up. Advice allowed me to get the steering wheel free for the drive home so I could await arrival of my clb module. If it wasn’t for this forum ownership wouldn’t be so worry free/as enjoyable😎🍻

Same thing happened to me when I bought our car in 2007. Got stuck in my father in laws driveway in Nebraska and they just left to go camping for the weekend so nobody was home. Had the CLB in the glove box and had the car on the road within a half hour back to Arizona. My brother in law was dumbfounded I had the part on hand. It pays to do a little research before hand sometimes. Glad you were able to get it going again.
