Default 69 427 A/C Brass expansion tank, Connections

I have been going through the cooling system, and have been fortunate enough to acquire the correct brass expansion tank & brackets. The question I have is what are the correct hose connections. I have rebuilt the radiator with the original Harrison tanks and a new core. I have seen lots of conflicting information, just looking to sure up what information I have. The one connection the I am really unsure of is the smaller connector under the cap. Any information would be very helpful. Thanks

Thanks very much good pics, I noticed that the small connection just under the cap housing is not labeled is that for a hose that just goes out to under the car that I have heard about?

Yes, that is for the overflow and my radiator doesn’t have a cap either.

Thanks again, work has been completed. The shroud was a major issue, the fit on the old one was questionable at best, now I know why. Had a heck of a time manipulating the new one to fit. I think something on the nose or Raditor mounting is off, Good news is 40min drive in medium traffic 85 degree s out and nice cool running temp. There is definitely some issues with Raditor mounting or something that is not square. I will have to look at further, thanks again
