Default C2 LS3 with Dewitts Conversion Radiator - hoses?

Guys,
I looked to see if I already asked this question (I don't believe I have) and I queried to see if I could find some good info...

For those of you who've put and LS3 in and used Dewitts conversion radiator for a C2, do you have part numbers of what you ended up with for the radiator hoses..? Both my inlet and outlet are on passenger side.

I know about using a straight wire or brake line to measure, but was wondering if any one who did this wrote down #s of the hoses they used....would just help avoid the searching through all the hoses at NAPA...

Thanks for any help...

Mine is the extra large Dewitts with twin spal fans. I used Napa 7940 is top hose with splice 9941 is bottom hose with splice in each so i could clock them. Not exactly out of the box but it worked.I used shrink wrap hose clamps for the clean look

vjjack04,

I have the LS3 and the DeWitts single fan LS3 conversion radiator and I used D71657 for the upper hose and E72372 for the lower hose (both from Advance Auto). I used the coat hanger approach to pick these. I do not know what those hoses were originally meant for - you could probably go to the Advance Auto website and input the numbers. Both had to be trimmed to fit. They seem to work fine!

Regards,

Jon

Woa, thanks. I will check this out...maybe the only difference between what you have and mine is the fans config. I have a dual fan config. Does your have the inlet and outlet both on the passenger side?

vjjack04,

Yes, both inlet and outlet are on the passenger side. You can see part of the upper hose in the picture above. I can take more pictures tomorrow if you think it would help.

Jon

Edit: I think the single fan radiator is narrower than the dual - not sure about that but I would think that it might effect the hose layout and choice.

I use NAPA 8272 for the upper on LS3 passenger side. Cross to Gates is 21557 (Rock Auto). I use NAPA 8484 for the lower (I think the cross to GATES is 21794 ). Both need a little trimming to fit. I've used these on a Dewitts big block radiator. Both in/out on passenger side.

So, In case you guys are interested, I did finally get radiator hoses....because I used the new Holley Mid Mount Assessory Drive system, which repositions the in and out fixture on the water pump, could not use the ones most of you suggested...I did, however, after a couple trips to the auto parts store and, probably two hours of looking, find what I needed. The top hose is a direct fit, and the bottom only had to remove about 4-5 inches at the radiator side....So this is with the Holley System and the Dewitts C2 for LS Swap radiator..

Could we get the part numbers used ? I think this may let me keep the original t-stat housing that comes with the crate motor.
The combo I have now has to have a straight t-stat housing- thank you

I would also like the part numbers for dual fan and both upper and lower on passenger side.
