2005 C6 Rear Hatch out of Alignment...
Any ideas on how to properly level the rear hatch with the quarter panel and roof? My drivers side is almost a half inch too high where the glass meets and the corner near the gas cap. The passenger side is in perfect alignment. I tired loosening the nuts where it connects at the top and that didn't do anything. Can I adjust the shocks or something else?

The adjustment would be the levelling legs under the 4 corners of the hatch itself. You can try to lower the leg on that side, and raise the front side some to try to level the hatch. When you lower the left side legs, you may have to raise the right side legs to make it as even as possible from side to side.
I had the seal between the glass and halo sag on one side, and it made it seem like the glass was higher than the other. I replaced that seal, and leveled the legs, and everything looks good again. Good luck

The front left leg is raised all the way and doesn't even touch when the hatch is closed. The rear left corner is level and doesn't need to be adjusted. Everything is level except the front left side. Those leveling posts won't help my situation. I think the rear hatch gas shocks have been replaced and maybe that is the problem?

Often times Carfax will list only the primary damage and leave out any secondary damage.
It's a pretty safe guess that something from that wreck was not repaired correctly. I would recommend taking the car to a body shop familiar with Vettes and have them make a determination as to what is wrong.

Check the shocks, make sure they are a direct fit to the Corvette hatch (not convertible trunk).
Another thing to rule out a possible warped read hatch is to remove it and set it down on a level surface. See how well all the leveling feet are sitting.
