Default Question: new C2 chassis available from GM?

I just read yesterday that GM has new replacement Chassis available for the C2 at a cost of around 3K, does anyone know anything about this?

Good morning Ken,

The only place in Michigan that has new frames for mid years is Vette Products of Michigan and I think there are around 6K

I believe Vette Products bought the original GM tooling so I doubt GM tooled up again for a 50 year old chassis. Probably some deal where VP frames can be purchased through GM dealers if there is any truth to it at all - but not for $3,000. Or just Facebook fake news is more likely.

If you find brand new C-2 frames for $3k, I'll be right there!
