Default Had to let her go...

So now I have room to get under the C5 and replace this power steering pump😅

Anyone have experience with the Turn One brand? Seems factory pumps are on back order so maybe a nicer version like the turn one for cheaper is a good idea. Any thoughts would be appreciated 😎

I've heard good things about turn one but have never used one myself... detox in the c6 section recently bought one and didn't end up using it, you might send him a pm and see if he still has it and maybe you can get a deal on it

Haven't gone to that show in a number of years, but if you do show up next year, let me know. I'll make a point of driving up to Columbia and we can meet up.

I love the Typhoon and have wanted a Sy/Ty ever since I started driving. I don't ever see them on the road or at shows anymore. I don't know what promise you made to your wife, but good Lord letting the Ty go would have killed me.

Thanks buddy. It really is a sucky feeling right now. I hear you about wanting one since you could drive! I remember the first time I saw one was in Lethal Weapon 2. When Mertov was stuck on the toilet because there was a bomb underneath. As Riggs pulls up to his house there was a a two tone Aspen Blue Ty parked in front of his neighbors house. I was like “whoa, what was that?!”

Keep me in your thoughts😅. I promised to let her go when I bought another vehicle. I waited 5 months to list it for sale but just when I thought maybe she forgot and wasn’t going to hold me to it. She reminded me, of my promise and that wifey’s NEVER forget😢

If you don't mind me asking what were you able to sell it for?

Not at all. 47k on the clock. I moved her out for $16k. I thought she was a steal. Super clean new two stage paint rather than the factory single stage. Lowered on bilstein, carbon fiber drive shaft, ally control meth kit capable of running 24 psi but tuned for 18. 20 billet turbo inside factory housing in place of the factory 14g. 300whp 390ftlb of twist. Upgraded intercoole, beefed up tranny, stall and extra set of C4 ZR1 wheels on Nitto Exremesr yada yada. The guy that bought it is geeked out of his mind so that makes me feel good at least. He is in Minnesota though and plans on driving it a lot which I can’t be mad at him but that cladding will collect some nasty salt in winter.

You got rid of the 996?!! Wow buddy I wouldn’t have guessed that... Well if you do some of that slick tinkering let me know, I’ve been wanting a tigershark front end slightly massaged just don’t know if I want to screw up good parts not having any experience. Lol. Guess we’ll see what happens. Thanks for the love.
