Carbon fiber package

Carbon fiber package
I ordered my 19 Z06/Z07 with the carbon fiber package. Now correct me if I’m wrong, the rear wing will still be black correct? Or would it be carbon fiber as well? Thanks in advance

The rear wing will be carbon flash, as will the splitter winglets on a stage 3 front splitter. The only items that are carbon are the sideskirts and front splitter.

You can add a GM carbon fiber rear wing for like $2k and sell your stock one. There are aftermarket options though for a lot less. Sometimes the APR one goes on sale on ebay for around $900 or you can get one from C7 Carbon.

Be for-warned about C7 unless something MAJOR has changed they have terrible customer service. I ordered one of their rear spoilers for my 11 GS and it took forever to get it. Even after they told me at the time of the order that they had it in stock. It was an aweful experience.

I ordered spoiler and rear diffuser from C7 for my Z06. It took a looong time to get the pieces. Kept getting the runaround about “next week.” Diffuser had a small scratch and a pressure point crease at the top. Both are barely visible when installed, so I didn’t complain. However, separation of the clear coat has been growing on the spoiler. It’s very cloudy. My car has never sat in the sun for extended hours, is covered in the garage, and has less than 2500-miles on it. Weave is also a little wonky in places.
Also, if you have any factory-installed visible carbon fiber on your car, theirs will not match; weave nor tint. Their VCF is black. I have ordered both parts in matching GM tint and weave. Cannot wait to get that C7 Carbon ugliness off my car! In this case, “You get what you pay for.”
TKO Performance has GM factory matching weave and tint.

1. Carbon Flash—which is black with metallic bits embedded. Does not show CF weave.
2. Visible Carbon Fiber—Tint has been described by Nowicki as “brown with a touch of purple hue.” This one shows the weave. You can order the Stage 2/3 Spoiler in VCF but it’s an additional option. If you did not, your spoiler will be Carbon Flash, as will be the Heat Extractor on the Hood. Which, in my opinion, looks awful next to VCF Hood Insert.
So, which package did you order?

As I said, VCF is a different color from Carbon Flash. I did not like having mixed colors and finishes on my car. So, I have- and am- replacing any Carbon Flash with VCF.
VCF from factory: Hood Insert, Removable Top, Front Splitter and Side Skirts. In my excitement and ignorance, before taking delivery, I ordered thousands in aftermarket parts only to discover factory weave and tint is different. Nothing matched. It looked horrid. I have since replaced Heat Extractor, and the three sets of Intake/Brake Ducts, Fender Gills and Front Wheel Spats. I have ordered and am waiting on Spoiler, Rear Diffuser and Tail Light Bezels. Then, I’m done with my VCF obsession.

The deciding factor for me was looking at my car from the side and front. The Carbon Flash was jarring to my eyes. In spite of what some Vendors say, “It’s far enough away it doesn’t show”, when I saw those black, rear brake ducts, merely inches from side skirts, Carbon Flash Hood Extractor literally touching VCF Hood Insert, and when my eyes followed roof line from VCF top back to a Carbon Flash Spoiler, I equated it to elementary coloring artwork. How many colors can I use out of my 64-Crayola box? Maybe I have a little too much OCD going on but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!
When you start adding parts, I recommend TKO Performance. Their parts match GM factory, perfectly, IF you order GM weave and tint. They are truly manufactured in house by Nowicki Autosports—not resold from Mexico or China. They stand behind quality of their parts. My detailer/installer has been very impressed and told me he has never seen such quality. He hasn’t had to add fasteners, touch up, polish or anything.

You could have ordered the visible carbon fiber rear spoiler . It's a separate option costing $2895. You might be able to still add it to your order if it's not too far along.

I believe because it's a "corvette accessory" that is installed by the dealer, at least that's how it was explained to me.
