My 69 Convertible arrived today
I have been looking high and low for a 68 or 69 Convertible and finely decided on one in Meas, AZ. I had a friend check it out for me and decided to get it. I had is shipped to Jackson, MS. Here are a few pictures of my car. It has been frame off and is in primer. Body work is done just needs one last block sanding and it will be ready for paint. Will need carpet and seat's recovered and a new top.

Congrats! Interesting look, too. What upgrades were made to the car, and what color are thinking of painting it?

I love that car since someone posted a link on here about a month ago! CONGRATS!! I don't know what the final price was, but appeared to be a great deal what seller was asking!!
Funny as I went back to look at this car again on the internet ad, and google search came up empty. Figured it was sold. Thank you for helping my addiction lol!! And for the record, I love it just the way it is, primer and all! (well I would replace the engine with something totally undriveable that fits the road race theme!

Very happy to see it sold to a member on here and Keep the pics coming!!

I just went back to the thread camparing this and the black 68. And yeah, this was the better of the 2 cars. The 68 was shiny. This one is special. Please don't leave the grilles red...

The road race look plays very well on these early C3 convertibles. Good luck with it.

Been gathering parts for the car. Got a pair of 2002 Miata seats and have recovered them in black leather. I got the covers from lseat.com and it was not that hard to recover them. I made adapters to mount them to the 69 rails. Got a tilt column and 14" steering wheel, and C6 power mirrors. Here are a few pictures

Excellent paint choice with the Motion paint scheme. I have it on my car and people are blown away with the paint, shaved marker lights and subtle custom touches. Your choice of colors will be perfect on your car!
