first 1/8 trails
Hi I have an 2007 C6 Z51 with an A6, yestarday I did my first trials on the local 1/8 track. The car ran 10 runs with times between 8.6-8.8s, 60 ft 2,05-2,12. I had the traction control off and drove it in "S"
I got the best time when launching at 900-1100 rpm , with higher rpm I have problem with "traction" and loose some time to 60ft and1/8 even I I lower pressúre on rear wheels significant.
I have read quite much on this forum and it seems that many stock base C6 can run low 8 runs.
Is my 1/8 and 60 times realistic ones or should it be possible to come down to low 8s ?

What is the altitude of the track? Air density plays a big part in overall engine power.
Here's a link that can maybe help give you an idea.

Oh wait ... it is for 1/4 mile times, not 1/8. Either way, might give you a basic idea of how to adjust your 1/8mile times locally to what some others might also be seeing.
