Default Mid-Engine C5 Lola T70

Sorry for the delay everyone. Busy with life. I’m building new shop for my project. Here’s some Indy car pedals I’m using for it.

Ok, so apparently OP is putting some kind of mid engine designed kit car on a C5 frame. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...rchid=71283091

Hey OP. Might I suggest a single focal point build thread to people know WTF you're taking about?

I think that's the beginning of the build thread...lol. He is building a shop to build a car, and step one...is buying these here pedals.

I have a feeling this is going to be a long thread.

To not further bust the OP's ***** though...I think he chose to restart with a new thread...not sure why. This is where he left off in jan 2018

Hot dang, you only scratched the surface. Just checked, 14 separate threads..! He'd get better replies by continuing an open thread, and still; it's a kit car, probably better suited to a kit car forum.

Default Mid engine C5 Lola T70

Sorry everyone,

i didn’t know this thread would not continue....

NO, this is no kit car, it’s a scratch built mid engine C5 chassis I’m stretching a Lola T70 Mk3B body over.

420-LS with G50 5-speed with 930 parts....

i take it it I have to go back & start all over for everyone?

OP, you have pics of the chassis? Since you have all those threads, maybe try to update your first post with some pics of progress to date?

I build several mid engine C5 based things...all tube chassis though

Glad to know the project is still in the works. I was not mystified by your post as I subscribed you your build thread. Please keep as posted once you get that shop done and can complete the construction.

I've been up close and personal with a GTM. LOVE them. Thought I wanted to build one one of these days, until I got up close and personal with one. There's not a snowballs chance I'd ever fit in one (I'm 6'3"). No way no how. Cool freaking kit cars though.

I’m about 6’1” so I hear ya. This project I’m clean-sheet designing so I’m starting with my *** about 4-inches off the ground & reclining driver position way back. I may even center-driver in the chassis once I get a better idea about the roll cage position along with pedal placement...
