Finally getting back into a Vette
I just purchased a used 2018 2LZ/Z07, M7, WGG/black, that has less than 750 miles on it from an out of state dealer. It also has the carbon flash painted ground effects, PDR, carbon fiber dash trim, & the battery tender. Hopefully, I will have it shipped next week sometime. I had a tough time finding a new or used WGG 2LZ with an M7 & a PDR.
I almost bought a new one a few weeks ago but the dealer's price quickly climbed as I wasn't eligible for any of their advertised incentives/discounts. So when I stumbled across the car above, which had more of the options that I had originally wanted than any of the news ones I looked at, I decided I better buy it. It was kind of like finding a unicorn after months of searching. It's also close enough to new for me with less than 750 miles on it.
I decided not to wait around to see how the C8 turns out. I sold my last Vette 16+ years ago so I figured I've gone without one for long enough. I'm also not getting any younger & I wanted a Vette with a manual. Who knows if a manual will be offered on the C8 (I kind of doubt it). If the C8 turns out great I can always buy one at some point in the future.

I will definitely be smiling. After borrowing a friends non-Z07 Z06 M7 for a 1,200 mile road trip last summer I knew I had to get one. I'm sure the ZR1 is great for the hardcore track guys but for occasional track use I think the car I bought will be great. The only thing it's missing that I wish it had are comp seats. But that can be taken care of for less than $2K.

Congratulations! I have the same car except a 17. It's amazing and you will love it. Purchased mine new from Illinois and had it shipped to Oregon. The combo wasn't easy to find.

The car I bought was only $360 cheaper than the new 2018 WGG/2LZ/M7/PDR I almost bought from a different dealer in Massachusetts. But the new one didn't have the Z07 pkg., the carbon fiber dash trim, carbon flash painted ground effects etc...I guess what I lost out on by not buying a new one is the $1,500 savings on Spring Mountain driving school out in Pahrump.
You're not joking about it being hard to find. It was tough to even find a 2018/2019 WGG, M7, PDR even without the Z07 pkg. That's why I grabbed this one since I didn't think I'd find another one.

Thanks. I'm sure I'll be as happy with it as you're with your car. I think I got it for a decent price, $77,981 before tax/tags & a $689 doc. fee. Though I have to ship it from Atlanta out here to TX but that's not bad.

That's good to hear. My current 3 vehicles are black. My prior 4 vehicles, which included the 2 prior Vettes, were also black. I still wanted a darker color but decided I'm done with black for a while. I think WGG will work out great.

Just a few pics of the car. Of course the car is still sitting at the dealership so these are from their website. I know these are just pics of another gray Z06 that everyone has seen a million times before. But I'm excited to get it, so I thought I would add a few shots.

That's a good point.
I'd love to be the guy with the 30,000 sq. ft. mansion & a warehouse full of 6 & 7 figure supercars/hypercars. But I'll never have the funds for that kind of lifestyle. This Z06 is about as good as it's going to get for me as far as high performance cars go.

I received the final paperwork yesterday, a day later than expected. They received the signed paperwork this morning & the car is now officially mine. Now I just need to get it picked up & on its way to me. The only bummer is I'll be out of town for the next 7 days, starting tomorrow, so I'll to wait a few more days to get it.

Yes OP you should verify everything is in the trunk. Also the net will most likely be in a bag in the compartment at left side of trunk. I called my dealer thinking it wasn't there 😏

Nice choice I just got my 19 WGG manual rag top, one of the last WGG's off the line. As any FYI Kerbeck in NJ gave me a sweet deal 12% off sticker.
