Default Holley 2818-1 carb secondary diapraghm

I am rebuilding my carb and the kit did not include the secondary diapraghm. Is the Holley 135-4 the correct replacement part? Also, the kit came with two different size power valves. (1) 10.5 and (2) 6.5 valves. As best I can tell the one that was in the carb was a F with a #4 and #5 on it. The motor in this car is the 365/327 with stock cam per previous owner. I am replacing the B-1 vacuum advance on the distributor with an Airtex 4V1053 per Dukes comments in another thread. Any help from you gurus is appreciated. It looks easier to pull the distributor to do this.

I got the Vac can in.

It never does - you need to purchase that separately.

If the secondary diaphragm holds vacuum when testing it's not necessary to replace it, I don't think they go bad very often.

If you do decide to replace it make sure to compare the length of the stem because the secondary's will not open right if the wrong length is used, I believe there are something like four lengths. You can also experiment with a different spring inside the housing which will allow earlier opening if you are so inclined.

Probably the most important thing is to check the small holes in the carburetor main body and metering blocks for two things, hole size to be sure no one has been there before and clogged/restricted from old fuel. The internet will help with the factory bleed sizes etc.

The death knoll for these Holley's is there modular design sealing surface so pay attention to this. I am not sure what power valve came factory on the 2818 but John probably knows, I would guess a #65.

John, I am just trying to find out which diaphragm was stock as came from the factory on a 365hp/327, so I can order one or find one on ebay.

I would call Holley tech support to get the diaphragm #. My Holley catalog does not list the 2818-1 on the diaphragm application chart.
The stock power valve is the 6.5 according to the literature.
