Default What front brakes for front runners

What brakes are you running and what front runners? I would like to buy 15-17" front runners for my '92. I have a big brake kit on now so I know it will have to be changed. Please advise. Thanks

Probably doesn't help you, but I have stock 84 brakes and run 15x4.5 welds.

What do you consider 'a big brake kit'? Some might consider a C5 or base C6 'big brakes' - I wouldn't. Mention maybe what you actually have for brakes. Most any of the brake vendors can supply you with 'dimensions' of their product.

Someone here might know. Most do it the other way around.

Race Star I believe does a 17 X 4.5 with a 1.75 'back-spacing'. Are there others? I've no idea. I'd think your thoughts regarding 'backwards compatibility' of the '84 silly. I doubt the 'barrel' of a 17" would accommodate your whatever Wilwood but I'd think easily do '92 with either brake option.
