Bad Optics for Corvette Demographic
I mean, we get enough grief about Corvettes being “old guy” cars without our own making it worse. I snapped this admittedly poor quality picture yesterday in Waco, TX. For those who are not aware, Luby’s Cafeteria while not a bad place to eat is kind of known as a hangout primarily for the blue hairs.😔

Lets Face the facts With a new Z06 close to the 100K Range there is not that many younger people that have jobs that can support the payments of a new Z06 or as far as that goes a $50,000 base model. However having said that I was at a local Vette night a couple of weeks ago and sure enough most of the owners were in their mid 50's to early 60's. Personally I kind of felt out of place now here is the Kicker I am 59 years old but I am not the average 59 year old man. I teach karate 6 days a week and spar with guys in there 20's twice a week. I drive my car like I stole it and am always up for a race. I hang out a lot of times with guys half my age. No I am not having a mid life crisis If I were I would trade my 52 year old wife in for a 22 year old hot blond. I am still the same hotrodder at heart that I was 40 years ago now just a little smarter.
