Console Lid GS Embroidery

Everything is over the top expensive when you buy it with the car. Get the things you can't live without and you can purchase these mods later usually for less money on your own time. Forget things like cargo & floor mats, fake cargo cover rip off for $170, when the GS already comes with one....sill covers, & dumb sh** like that just adds to the price of the car. You can get that later if you want. Go for things like the colored calipers, and performance items if anything.

WOW! Didn't know the cargo cover was already on the GS. Wonder what is already there...
Performance items... I looked at the special air intake for $600 or $700 and research shows it adds no HP to the LT1 engine. Sigh... Yeah, I've added painted calipers.
Thanks again.

I don't know, if I like something enough I buy it. If you feel it's a rip-off then don't buy it.
I didn't really buy mine because of the embroidery, but because I wanted the console lid to match the adrenaline red seats.
I believe I paid more like $265 for mine and it was only $30 or so more than the same without embroidery.

^ Yep, personally I wouldn't have spent the $ just for the embroidery, I just wanted a little more red. But for an extra $30 or so thought it was well worth it.

Like Kevin I wanted a little more red in my car, and this one was $254 when I purchased. I wouldn't pay that much for just the embroidery either.

Everything about the GS IS a gimmick.
If paying over $10,000.00 for some cheap ornamental trinkets and other gimmicks can make sense....??? ..

Z16 GS Performance Package features ($10,000): Specific front fender inserts; Z06 style grill; wider rear fenders; front splitter; rocker skirts, additional brake cooling vents and wickerbill rear spoiler; GS CUP-style wheels; Michelin super-sport summer only tires (P285/30ZR19” front, P33525ZR20” rear); 6-piston front and 4-pison front Bremo brakes; Slotted brake rotors; Magnetic Ride Control and Electronic Limited-slip differential; NPP exhaust, Dry-sump oil system; Rear differential cooler; transmission cooler.
Your making yourself to be an idiot here day after after day doesn't make any sense either.

Sounds like someone has GS envy....lemme guess? Couldn't afford the GS, so rather than accept that, you make yourself feel better about it by saying the extra coin for the GS is just 'gimmick' and 'ornament'.
