Just another junk 2008 GM engineers pushed onto us!
Jetstream blue 2008 convertible. The odometer turned 100000 yesterday. I am the 2nd owner--1st owner lived in LA, picked up the car at the museum, and drove it home. He was a forum member--I bought it from him at 65,000. There have been no issues with the car--just maintenance. No issues with balancer, battery, bearings, etc, etc. The only issue I had is that the key dropped out of the bottom of one fob and I lost it. I will be driving this one for a looooooong time!

Very nice! I really like that color and would love to have a GS in that color, however, we decided on Torch Red. I mean, it is a Corvette after all.
Here's to another 100,000!

I bought my '08 with 38,000 miles last year. Now have 67,000 on it with the one problem of the gas tank odor that GM fixed. I'm just getting started driving mine.

I'm about 4500 miles shy of the 100K mark. Most of those are from North American road trips in the past 8 years. Each and every mile has been pure pleasure.
My 2006 coupe has been very reliable. Routine maintenance, no electrical issues, no balancer issues. no rear end noises, etc. I have changed out 1 set of brake pads to ceramic at 50K miles, along with new sway bar end links, and new Bilstein shocks in the fall of 2017. I did need to replace my water pump at 30K miles due to a water pump seal leak.
Just got a new 3rd battery, more as a preventative measure than anything else.
Still original radiator, but did do a flush and dexcool change out the same time I changed the water pump. That will be flushed out again this coming hibernation period.
Have not touched the automatic transmission fluid. The only thing I may do in the near future is change the filter and add new fluid.
The rear differential fluid was changed out early in it's life, and I'm not expecting to do anything on that front.
Here's to many more miles

Im at 124k miles on my purchased since new 2008 c6z51m6.
the cars been utterly flawless.
Best of luck on your beauiful corvette.
im keeping this thing until i decide i want the rear kid engine corvette just because its been rumored for forty years...and even then im not sure im selling my third new corvette or if ill just keep as a third car.
the only issue is i only have a two car garage and there is no parking on the street and my better half is not so good backing up. She once drove her cadillac throgh the garage door pulling out..
no damage to the car but the door cost me a few bucks to fix.
these cars are validated to 300k miles ..amd they still look contemporary especially with 19/20 inch oem z51 rims.

These cars are junk! They can only go 200k+.
I love the color, sort of reminds me of the blue on my first Vette! I got my 08 vert with just under 18K last November. It's got almost 25K now, and the only thing it needed was a battery, and normal maintenance! I think the next 75K should be easy sailing.
Here's my piece of junk.

Saw the title of your post and thought, oh God, another person whining about something. Nice to see people post about great things too. Absolutely gorgeous color combo. Enjoy the next 100k !
