Checking out the Tom.s site would probably be the logical place to start.
Just configure to how your unit is optioned and you can figure parts prices from there.

That would be over 40 years old now, Tom redesigned the parts over those years. He had Richmond make the gears to size instead of machining a stock 12 bolt set, the axles were different and the present ones I think are better. Then the question comes to mind what abuse they were subjected to over that time. If these are sitting on a shelf and never been installed you would get a good value but if they were run hard I wouldn't expect a lot when Jo Watt has new ready to install. You can't compare those to present day parts for pricing.

Got any pics? What gears are in it? Posi? U-joint size? I think Pepe was doing some gear treatments way back when to help.

Value depends on condition and demand. Throwing out numbers without seeing and inspecting an old custom diff would be foolish. An all new 12 bolt will cost a lot, the parts are different though and importantly the process used to build them vary from builder to builder- some good, some not so good. Some true, some all talk.
I think anyone who would be interested, that knows about these, would want to see it before offering you anything.

Sounds like it had the good stuff at the time. As mentioned...depends on what abuse it may have had...but the shafts and u-joints won't be hurt.
With a complete "new style" 12 bolt 1480 conversion eating up $5500-$6000 at least...you can go from there. Sounds like a $2500-$3K or so range at best maybe? Just guessing without pics and details.
