Default New Shadow Gray Z06 and White ZR1 delivery pics,Barn finds etc 8/19/18 Mike Furman***

~This week is Corvettes at Carlisle...I will be on site Wednesday the 22nd-Saturday the 25th. Please look for me at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Tent
located just next to the GM Corvette Racing Tent on the midway Infield. I will have a new 2019 Corvette on display. Check out below the first 2019 Shadow Gray
Corvette delivery. Lots of pics...all I can say is that this color is even more vibrant in person.
*Please call my desk direct line 301-212-4420 or email
mfurman@criswellauto.com with all that you are seeking for your next Corvette. I am now in my 41st year selling Corvettes and experience does matter.
I sell and ship Nationwide...or you can do a Corvette Museum delivery. I promise to make your Corvette order seamless and fun.

~ I was extremely fortunate to work for the first family of Corvette...The Konner Family. All thru out the 80's I was privy to witness
first hand working for the Malcolm Konner Auto Group and at that time Konner Chevrolet was the largest Corvette dealer world wide.
I'd say they held that title starting in the early 70's thru approx 1993. Below are some pics from back in the day including with Zora Duntov as Malcolm
Konner and family frequently had Zora as a house guest. (I've never posted these family supplied pics before)

Loren Konner and Zora Duntov. I taught Loren how to parallel park and even borrowed a friends 55 Olds 98 Convt to bring to her 16th Birthday sock hop at the dealership. She was a sweet kid and unfortunately passed away 15 years ago.

~Charles H. Of Macungie, PA and I have talked at the Corvettes of Carlisle event in the past and he gave me a call 6 weeks ago to place his Factory order for a Shadow Gray Metallic 2019 Z06 Cpe. This is his very first new Corvette of the 6 Corvettes that he has owned! In 1957 his Uncle gave him his first Corvette ride at the age of 5 years old and introduced him to Corvette speed and horsepower! That 57 was Venetian Red but Charles knew he was going to order this new Shadow gray color from moment one when it was announced. Equip list: transparent top, 7 spd manual, 2LZ Pkg and much more! Look for Charles at Carlisle this coming week...he will have the perma grin.

~Chris P. of Kings Park, NY is the owner of Plycar Trucking which is the enclosed car shipping company that I have used 10-15 times per month for the last 9 years. Chris has bought a dozen or more vehicles from me over the years. This was his first Museum Delivery and today the red carpet was rolled out for his new 2019 Arctic White ZR1 that he factory ordered. Equipment list includes: Comp seats, dual roof Pkg, Auto trans, ZTK Performance Pkg, 198 Black Interior with blue stitching and 3ZR Pkg. This Was viewed on Camera 5 for another fantastic museum delivery experience! Chris had an absolute blast!

~Kirk F. Of Severna Park, MD was referred to me last week and we made an appt. for 11am Wednesday. Kirk wanted to pick out a 2019 Corvette Grand Sport to Keep a year until the Mid Engine Corvette becomes available. So he gave me a deposit for a Mid Engine Corvette and bought his 15th Corvette to drive home! Kirk picked out a 2019 Blade Silver Grand Sport Cpe with two tone Black/Gray with microfiber insert interior, CF badge Pkg, Auto trans, machine faced wheels, Navigation/PDR, GS Heritage Pkg and 2LT pkg.

~Some others that left the yard...even a 2019 Silverado!

~The Frank Class Corvette Barn find and throwback section. Please post up which is your favorite pic this week.

Have a great week and I hope to see you all in Carlisle,PA this Wednesday-Saturday.

Good Morning Mike. The New Gray is probably just as difficult to accurately take a picture of as was the WGG.What the eye see's is hard to match. The metallic content is Stunning.Have a Good time at Carlisle.

Thanks Mike for another week of stories and photos!

Congrats. to all the new owners, another batch of great looking vehicles hitting the roads!

Favorite photo already been posted, but it seems to be the choice of more than one person.

The red '63 SWC would be THE choice of any Corvette of more than one person.

Have a great time at Carlisle!

My favorite pictures were all of the Gold Corvettes. I wish we could get Gold now.
My first Corvette was a Gold and Black, 1985 Corvette. I have never seen another Gold and Black until these pictures. I always thought it was two tone because a previous owner had purchased a Gold one and painted the lower half black. I bought it in 1990 and kept it until 2011 when I traded it for a 2011 Grand Sport.

Love the Malcolm Konner pictures and the picture of Zora. Finally someone ordered a new ZR1 in a color other than Orange.
Great pictures Mike.
My choice this Sunday.

Mike, what a great thread today! I'm amazed at how many pictures you post each Sunday. I love the nostalgic pictures you post each week. I'm glad you got Tweety Bird's custom C7.R desk (and matching chair) in there too.

I agree...a Gold color would be perfect on the C7/8 body style.

Thank you Mike for another BIG FUN Sunday delivery thread. Shadow Gray is so beautiful, especially in the sun. Love its blue tone and its lots of metallics.

Thank you also for all the throwback pictures. I always enjoy those.
