'11 Grand Sport convertible for me !!!!
So this is not a shameless plug for Corvette Mike in Mass. but if anyone is looking for a "like new" yellow '04 Z06, I traded him mine last week. I just wasn't driving it and he wanted it back. I bought it from him 2 years ago with just over 11k miles on it. The good news is I picked up an '11 Grand Sport convertible with 7500 miles on it. Loaded except for ride control and the embroidered headrests. The sticker was almost $73k !!!! My first driving impressions are very good so far. The LS3 pulls like a freight train in the low gears, and the ride is exceptional for a performance car. I think taking the run flats off is part of it, he put new Hankooks on it and it rides pretty nice now. I guess I better get TRIPLE A soon because I'm driving this car and no spare and no jack is a concern ;-{. I'm shocked at what these cars are selling for. MacMulkin has a bunch of them and they're all in the same price range. I wish the seats were better, I wish the radio was better blah blah blah but I friggin' love this car so far !!! Wish me luck, Mark

GS and Z51 convertibles never made sense to me.
The Z51 and GS are built as a Autocross event cars, can be used for HPDE, but does not have roll over protection due to the convertible roof to allows you to run it class legal on a track instead.
