Hello everyone, I've been meaning to join up and actually share some info with you all, but what with procrastination being what it is, I never got around to it. Mainly I've been lurking with a vengeance.
Between my dad and I, we've owned 5 corvettes, 2 c4s (1986, 1994), a 1972 c3, 1963 c2 and now a c1.
The c1 is a black 1960 with red interior. It had some neat options added on that make me think it might have been fuel injected, but maybe that's just wishful thinking. Right now it's in primer and pieces. I'll be finishing up paint soon and maybe I'll remember to post up some pictures of it as we went through the process of restoration. My dad and I bought it from a guy who drug it out of a swamp or something in Kentucky or Alabama, I forget right now. And it was full of pecan shells, even the frame! If I can dig up those photos, I'll post them up as well. With that purchase, we got a bunch of spares and I'll be listing those for sale (and some for free) in the near future.
Take it easy,
Dan

Hi Dan, and welcome to the forum!
Sounds like quite a find. Maybe you can sell some of the pecans to help pay for restoration work.
Not sure about mandatory options for a '60 Fuelie other than the manual trans. Engine codes would have been CR or CS.
Lot of great members in the C1/C2 section of the forum that can help you a lot more. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-1953-1967-21/
Best wishes with your efforts!

Welcome and best of luck with the restoration of your C1. I would recommend posting up plenty of pics in the C1/C2 Corvettes section - I'm sure a lot of people would like to see them.
