For the record, I am not the one who started this thread. For some reason, the OP's opening post isn't displaying

Those are not the GM extended ones (extended below the rockers). Although it looks as if you do have the GM ones installed as well. My experience is the GM ones work well.
But yea, sideskirts (and Xpel Ultimate) help a lot too

How did you attach the extension?

ACS is a good product. I bought the front and rear splash guards for my C7. But I ordered the Start Up Kit that they have bundled together. After receiving the kit I noticed that the rear was not the XL Mud Guards that I wanted. ACS was willing to let me send them back and pay the difference for the XL's. But when I tried to send them back via Fed Ex or UPS, they wanted $80 because they are located in Canada.
So just make sure you order the correct product if you order from them.

Cheapest would be to use USPS, flaps are relatively small, and I agree 80$ does sound expensive.

Some really great advice and insight on the splash/rock guard option. One interesting post has stated that the wider and longer guards, i.e. ACS XL, actually interferes with the aerodynamics of this car!! Interesting concept. Something I never considered but may be a valid argument! I’m still struggling with the price tag of these ACS XL’s with a $500 price tag anyway.........

Safety Car
I have the GM guards... they didn't provide enough protection on track with my stock Z51 (see below) so I added skirts.

Safety Car
i have the side skirts and they really helped but still did not stop all the gunk from getting on the area above the skirts. I bought the Smaller extended flaps and they add more protection than just the skirts.

I have the GM splash guards on mine and they do protect the sides and I'll be installing side skirts soon. Hope that is enough to protect the side of the car (besides I have Xpel installed also).

I put the GM Splash Guards on my 2014 when I got it. In a few months the heavy GM plastic on the rockers had a number of dings from rocks. Bought fulll Len gth carbon fiber side skirts. All markling stopped and after a few months removed the then marked and discolored on the edges GM plastic protection.
When I sold the car 3 1/2 years later the rockers AND behind the rear wheels looked new.
When I ordered my Grand Sport got the Stage 2 Aero option to get full length carbon fiber side skirts. Mine are painted carbon flash. Saved $1000 over visible CF and was not going to get caught in the real carbon fiber accessories again, gets expensive.
Was going to use GM Splash Guards but posters convinced me to use the ACS Guards that are ~1/2 inch wider and deeper than GM. Used GM for the rear as the fender tucks in and was fine for the 2014. Also ACS was only offereing the GM guatrds at the time for the rear!
Been 2 years with the Grand Sport. Not a mark on the rocker panels or behind the rear wheels. Also no marks on the rear fender lower brake cooling duct opening some have said gets dinged from stones. In fact GM has their heavy plastic protection above that area. Removed it 6 months ago!
