Default Official Las Vegas check-in thread, meets, advice, local help, etc

Just relocated to LV, have an 1150sqft spot. My gf drives a 2009 6spd C6 and I have a modded C5Z. We are looking to add a couple, but relocated from the ATL.

I am working on some custom carbon parts for C5's and C6's (C7's when we get ours soon). I also have some scales/alignment equipment/HP Tuner/Lift, etc...I do a little side work here and there to help pay for the building, but I'm not a business. I am going to be pursuing putting together a drive club in late 2018. Seeking to bring together a diverse group of enthusiasts from all genres...people who are driving enthusiasts, street/track...something along those lines.

Started the thread to find other local Corvette guys...maybe we can do a forum meet up one day! Check in if you're from LV or local.

I have a yellow C5Z with carbon wide rear fenders and hood, pretty easy to spot since I have custom graphics on it as well so pretty easy to spot. I'm down in the Inspirada area and work at the NW area command for LVMPD. Can your HP tuners help turn on my senors for smog? I can't get my 02/EVAP/EGR sensors to go to ready for smog and I drove to Primm today and then to Mt. Charleston and they still aren't ready

Late to the party, but here in Summerlin... Red Rock run sounds fun. A Track day would be even better.

Haven’t done a bunch of research, but doesn’t look like any of the tracks around town allow you to run your own car, am I missing something??

I saw the silver State Classic, 90 mile run NE of town. Looks pretty serious, y’all signed up?

Can't you run your own car at Spring Mountain?

What's up guys. Just actually arrived on the second trip to LV today. We are headed to Laguna Seca for the weekend to see the Weathertech Race but will be back. Still trying to get settled somewhat. Hopefully we can build up this thread here and see about a vette meet up or something.

Friday after 5pm the car meet up spot is on Rancho drive and Craig. It's about a mile from the Santa Fe hotel and casino. It's in the Dairy Queen-KFC shopping center on the
north side of the street. Las Vegas

its usually a good turn out and all kinds of sports cars are there, 😎

Hey guys. I'm in the Summerlin area, off town center. Just picked up a 2000 C5 and it needs a little love and attention. I would like to have the front end looked at, getting vibration around 60 mph.

If u want to start with wheel balancing Discount tire on Lake Mead before u get to the 95 fwy can do that. Otherwise, I was sent to tire wheel alignment shop on Spring mountain headed toward the 15 fwy. 702 534 7741. Good luck

Porsche Club hosts it a few times a year there and they open it up to everyone, I just went this past weekend and it was 220 for the day! Absolute blast!

It's kind of out of the way for you but I have used Precision Garage over here by the Speedway, I have known the owner for 5 years now and he's always taken good care of my cars whenever I have needed anything. He'll even diagnose for free up to an hour as well. His name is Reymond, Phone Number there is 833-829-0931 or you can find them on FB or Instagram!

SpeedVegas, friday nights, they run an autocross and cars and coffee event. We should have a Corvette showdown for forum bragging rights! It's like 50 bucks for unlimited runs on the autocross.

I ran the autox last week, pretty weak course as I couldn't even get out of 1st gear the entire time. Pulled a 27.27 and think I ended up 4th behind those track'd out Miata's. Also the runs didn't start until nearly 7pm and some idiot in a beat up Miata managed to go through the fence and hit the lights/generator
