MSRP +$20k !
Just went to my local dealer in Delray Beach FL and they asked for $20K over a loaded $145K ZR1. Dealer changed owners a while ago. Purchased two C7's from the previous dealer. Now own a loaded Z06. Any recommendations for a dealer in South Fla. I was willing to pay $5K over.

I always waited until the end of the model year on all of my vettes and it’s always worked out well, the last new vette I bought (my C7Z06 had 2500 Miles) was a 2010 ZR1 3rz out the door at 94k, I stoped buying new after that, the one thing I learned about corvettes is that they all fall off a cliff on resale, if I were you I would buy used and let someone else take the 20k hit.

It's hard enough to pay sticker, I wouldn't pay anything over sticker for any car, and I have one of each, Porsche dealer tried that once, just walked away, they make more than enough at sticker

In 2010 Johnny Londoff Chevrolet in St. Louis sold 2010 $125K ZR1's for $94,000, also in October, 2010. I was there buying a brand new GS vert for $48K. I asked the salesman about the drastic price reductions, he said the owner Johnny came in and told the Genl manager he wanted those last model years vettes off the lot asap. and off they went.
Don't be afraid to leave Florida, my last, best, one was with George Matick Chevrolet in the Detroit 'burbs this year. Florida rent a cars will almost give you a car if you are driving it one-way out of state to pickup a new ride. Almost all out of state dealers use the nationwide hookup to get your car registered and tagged in Broward or WPB counties, you never set foot in the DMV.

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT pay $1 over Msrp, there are plenty of those car out there, they are not in demand, you can find under msrp right now, and if you chose to wait 6 months(or less) you will find them at 10k off at the very least.

great buying experience
Bought my 2019 Admiral Blue ZR1 3LZ ZTK A8 with CA induction from Gilbert Chevrolet at sticker price. I have had it for 2 weeks. No hassle or BS. Best car purchase experience I have had yet.

i have a car on order with them. I noticed the Ft. Landerdale store had one back in late May advertised at MSRP so I got in touch with them. The guy that ordered it backed out when it arrived. I wasn’t into the color scheme on it, so I asked if they had any more allocations. They said that they did, and so I put some money down on an agreement that they would sell the car @ MSRP with the dealer service charges at $1k (which anymore seems like they try to whack you at $500 just for a $30k car). So I jumped at it. I did notice that the Delray Beach store showed one in inventory later on in the summer and that they had it marked up.
These mark ups are ridiculous. Early in the spring I saw a car at Autonation Chevy in Denver CO, no price advertised. I called, we talked and then it comes out they wanted $20k over. The sales manager actually got on the phone with me when i balked at the salesman and he told me that ‘all the dealers in CO agreed they would sell them at $20k over sticker”. I told him I am pretty sure what he just said is illegal.
Out of curiousity I called a Porsche dealer to see what they wanted for the 2019 GT3 RS, and was told it was MSRP + $75k.....
