Mobil-1 0W40 Dexos avoid Ebay Seller collins8575
Just a heads up so fellow form members - don't get scammed. Don't buy the Mobil-1 0W40 Dexos 2 from Fleabay sellercollins8575. He is less than honest in that he listed the oil but does not have it in-stock, gives you a tracking number but never hands it over to the carrier, won't tell you it is out of stock, lies about when he expects to receive it, and won't cancel your order!

Should file a complaint with Ebay and if you paid via PayPal, with them as well

That sucks! I bid on some microfiber applicator pads on EBay and won the auction this morning and as soon as that happened, the seller sent me an apologetic email saying that he had found out the warehouse was out of stock, so he immediately cancelled my order so that I wouldn't have to send him any money. Collins8575 should have done the exact same thing, only shady people pull **** like this. It's a shame too, that's a great price (if the shipping price is reasonable that is)

I reported this to Fleabay - they are worthless. They just emailed him on my behalf requesting a refund AGAIN. Idiots. Fleabay said I have to wait till after the original expected delivery date and file a dispute. PayPal says to go to Fleabay to dispute.
F*ck'em - I'm going to dispute it with my credit card company.
Sell just came back and said it shipped and it will arrive Monday? Idiot - Monday is a federal holiday - moron. No new tracking number. Original tracking number has not been received by Fedex.
This guy is a royal scammer.
I wonder if Fleaby will make my Feed Back report on this scammer disapperar!?!?!

Unfortunately ebay has made negative feedback useless. The guy has no negative feedback and I find that very fishy. I also find it fishy that he has no feedback at all for over a year. Everything is wrong about this guy yet ebay is allowing it.

Start dealing with amazon exclusively. I've never had any trouble buying through amazon products/vendors. Be very wary of eBay.

E Bay middleman
Lots of e bay sellers are just a middleman. They have nothing. Stock nothing. You buy from them they order from vendor / dealer and have it drop shipped to you. If there is a problem you have to contest it through E bay (which is a joke - they make money on both ends). I'm going through this with a set of Pistons right now for $500. Out of stock but e bay post says more than 10 sets available. They don't know when they will have them. Have not issued a refund yet (charged me even they knew they were out of stock) and keep trying to sell me something else like flat top or dished. Really pizzes me off. E bay stil has not done anything about my complaint.

ebay is most def. not seller friendly. Ebay will bend over backwards (snapping a seller's back if they have to) to help buyers. As someone who sells a significant amount of money on ebay, I can tell you, there are so many scammers buying on ebay. Ebay is scared to death of losing consumers.

Yeah, but obviously someone keeps "buying" from him, as well.

I buy quite a bit of bike parts on ebay. Always pay immediately. Sellers are thrilled leaving very positive feedback. I guess they're not used to someone paying when they buy. Just an old habit.
