Default The cover is off for the first time!!!!!

Thank you Motor1.com for blessing our morning with these photos via CarPix! These provide the absolute best look yet at so many features that I don't even know what to talk about

The side scoop looks familiar...

First look the the engine cover, rear wing, and the rear vents!

ColoradoGS, I don’t know your humor that well yet— But if this is lacking side camo I was completely wrong!!!

I'm sure the Grand Sport wheels will look much cooler. Seriously though, I'm guessing mules often have decoy wheels but we'll have to wait and see.

I cannot WAIT to see this in wide body.

Hmmm, I was being serious. Well half serious. For people that didn't love the C8.R scoops, the most common concern was that they looked like Pac Man. The drawings you posted did not look like Pac Man at all and neither do these pics. Yes, these are more angular so in that respect you were wrong. But unless this is somehow camoed the scoops stops at the door. Unless you are saying that's a fake piece past the door?

I see echoes of C3, Ford GT, and F50.

I don't see buttresses.

And either you will be able to see the engine, or it will have room for golf bags, but not both.

Main thing I like is there's lots of foundation for higher performance variants.

Happy Labor day from GM! Even a nice USA on the back. They did a heck of a job keeping the headlights and taillights camouflaged.

Loving the front, back looks tall, but overall looks great even in camo and fake lights which means it will look great in the flesh wth real stuff.

Has a ton of NSX in it... that horizontal line on the door especially.
Back window suggests the covered "quarter glass" will be air intakes like the Viper and those vents are exits?

or could they be air intakes for the motor and the side scoops are all cooling?

going to be interesting to examine the packaging for sure. I'm guessing motor under the hatch glass and small rear trunk behind?

Vert will have the buttresses.

I was thinking that this is just covering the window to change the look of the car. having a large window really opens up the cabin.

I am going to be extremely interested to see the active aero's function. I keep thinking about the patent for GM's active aero and when I see this, I scratch my head.

John T, I think that the camo is hiding the bottom edge of the vent. If you look real closely in the side view, it does seem to be elongated towards the bottom of the door. this is sure necessary due to the slower speeds of every day drivers versus those on the track.
