Less than 1500 corvettes with this rare first year option in 89, who knows how many left. Z51, ZF6 6 speed manual transmission, 3:54 gear Positrac, Dana 44 rear, J55 13 inch performance brake option. This literally has the highest performance options you could order for 1989 from the factory. Additionally tasteful upgrades are $1000 Corsa exhaust and $1500 brand new 17x9.5 and 17x11 ZR1 style wheels freshly powder coated with brand new 275/45/17 front and 315/40/17 rears. $3400 worth of receipts in the last 3 months. Ice cold air, hot heat. OEM delco cassette player upgrade with equalizer and upgraded kenwood speakers in factory location. Everything works exactly as it should, shifts smooth as butter, idles and drives great, this car is really good and needs nothing. Car is pretty darn fast too. Sounds great. If you come look at it, you will buy it. Asking $10,000 with ZR1 wheels $9200 with stock sawblades and like new tires on them. Will be hard to find a nicer red 6 speed with these miles at this price point. Buying a house looking to sell for a down payment or help pay closing cost. I'm heartbroken over it. My ideal buyer would be someone looking for an 89' for the same reasons I did. If a buy is just looking for "A nice Corvette" I think he could find one cheaper that is still pretty nice with lower options and higher miles, but still nice. My ideal buyer wants a Red 1989 6 speed. Because there aren't a lot of them out there with this combo. Oddly there is one on this forum for $10,500. Actually optioned out better than mine. I would have loved to have found that one ( Red, FX3, tan leather sport seats) When I was looking for this one. Its hard to see from the photos but mine looks to be in a little better shape. That is pure conjecture and it looks nice. I searched for months for the right 89, and randomly there are two for sale right now. Mine has New corsa exhaust, wheels and tires and a few other things. If it doesnt sell it wouldnt break my heart. It would be nice to have money for this new home though....
Is that the stock radio? What about appearance/mods to engine. Do you have stock wheels? Stock exhaust, I like what you have done but looking for an NRCS candidate.
