Quite a lot of parts will interchange between 74 and 77. Do you have specifics in mind? 74 bumper covers and rear tail lights are one year only.

Interchangeable
It actually ended up being a 1976 model. So Im
interested in the drivers fender, the hood, and interior parts. Our 77 runs it just need the carb adjusted but the 76 came with a totally rebuilt motor but think we are gonna leave the current one in. Why mess with a good thing.

Other than a keyed alarm arming hole on the driver fender, they are the same. The hood will fit with some minor latch assembly mods. They are basically the same, but the 77 has an upgraded (less failure) latch system. I think all of the interior except for the center console and dash cluster are the same. A/c and heater parts are mostly one-off parts that year. In fact, the 77 has a lot of unique parts and assemblies. Sort of ironic being they were one of the highest if not THE the highest production year.

Hood surround and front bumper are the only glaring differences. Even the seam up the middle of the rear bumper cover is for purists only. And for the most part, the 74-up c3's are fun drivers and collectable, but not so valuable that a 3 year newer part will lower value noticably. You do lose the cowl induction on back of the hood but it wasn't much in the first place. I would consider converting to 77 Hood latches as long as you have all the stuff.

which is which? Id double check the red fender. the edge looks messed up.should be able to tell from the underside.
whatever hit damage is on the right front may have broken the driver side and looks poorly repaired.(from the pics)

The orange one on trailer has bumperettes sticking out. That is 77 parts car. The pics I believe are trying to show the damage on the 74. Cant use 77 front bumper on the 74 though. In fact, I could maybe use the front bumper.

Ok, 76. May have cowl induction. You do have same hood latches. Too bad. 77 columns are valuable parts.

This is my fault for posting the wrong year but I'm am thoroughly confused. .. Lol. I am wanting to take some parts and interior from the red one (76) and use them on the orange one (77). Mainly the hoodsuround, maybe bumper, doors, interior and maybe the calipers. The rest of the red car will be for sale. I mean rear end exterior parts I mean the whole chassis everything I don't use. I'm in Monticello, GA come get em, (for a price). I also have a totally rebuilt 350 trans and motor for sale.

i saw the pic of the damage in another post. upload more pics to the body/paint subforum. I looks like the damage is mostly at the seam and all the pieces are there. I would just rebuild what you have and not cut out and install another section

And all glass panels interchange 76-77. Biggest difference is headlight dimmer on steering column.

Will the doors off the 76 work on the 77?
