My Car's Had Many Previous Lovers
My car's not one of those "never hit" "original glass" lovingly coddled cars. I've always referred to it as.... she, her, etc. Now that I'm intimately aware of it's previous love lives referring to it as "her" doesn't seem appropriate. I'm thinking of referring to it as "Master Guns", but then I'll feel strange when affectionately washing it. Just one example:
The "eye" is original glass. I count 4 paint jobs on this door. Happy Friday all, so blessed to be an American with problems like this, and praying for Carolina folks. Blessings

For weeks now I've been hoping someone in Michigan would find a '58 in a barn that's in the middle of a nasty breakup between a couple of moonshiners in the hills of eastern Tennessee or northern Alabama. Either state would be good. And of course ask for our advise how to move forward. Be a refreshing break.

Exact type of Friday banter I was hoping to stimulate Factoid..... maybe stimulate is too suggestive.....

Drifting
One would think. My parents had it in the garage and drove it each summer for 25 years. It had Bondo in the frame, so it was something the previous owners had done that just kept festering. None of this was glaringly obvious until I started poking around with the body hammer.

My '66 427 tanker has had 20 owners, and been repainted 6 times, but never wrecked and still had many original parts when I got her. I have spoken to almost all the previous owners, and all can't believe they sold the car........

20 owners in 52 years. That’s got to be close to a record.

The interesting thing is the owner I bought it from in 2016, had had it since 1979. So 18 owners from '66-'79.
