Default NASA nationals at COTA updates and pics

hi guys, This will be more of a picture bomb than anything, but a good spot to keep it all.

Several vettes here with many at the top of the charts in their respective classes.

3/8 tank of fuel

Ben from Salasko racing doing work on mike Perkins st1 car

On the Dyno was 10-12 low from ours, which is good.

Will make the rounds to as many vette guys as possible. If you’re here, come visit. We’re in garage 29, and if you’re a racer, we have spares, scooter, golf cart and lots of rain tires.

Continental rain tire deliver to ST3 racer John Hyer, he’s top 5 in his class

Some of you may know AJ Hartman and RHR performance. He qualified #1 in American iron. Here he is doing his Dyno verification after his pole.
The weather isn’t going to cooperate this weekend.

Some pretty impressive times from the cars in your stable. Glad the weather let up on Sat/Sun. BTW, NASA did a good job with the streaming video.

It was great to finally meet you Louis. I am sorry to all the others that I didn’t get a chance to meet. It was a pretty hectic weekend to say the least. You guys at G-Speed rocked the place. I swear I don’t how you (Louis) can be in so many places at one time. Thanks for all of your help in getting John to the top step of the ST3 podium. A huge congratulations to all of you.

Not your usual 2 races when it came to the Qualifying race and the Championship race. We had a great time, finished 4th in ST2. Nice Photos!

Adrian, you drove great. The race finish did not represent the speed you were carrying all weekend. Sometimes that is how weather and racing incidents go..., but I plainly saw who was carrying the speed last week.

Went out for friday warmup/qualifying and forgot to install my transponder. That wet session would of had me on the front row of grid at 5 had I had my transponder lol.

Put me at the back of the grid and fought traffic all weekend and had to deal with some questionable drivers actively blocking but made for great drivers meetings.
In spite of that, I was able to at least not be last in TT2 came in 7th in class. :-/

I busted a coolant line and the GSpeed gang really came through for me and got me patched up quickly!

Thanks yall!

Hard wire that puppy in there...or else create a checklist (and print out a BUNCH of them) and tape it to your window and check off the items before each session.

lol the problem this time was that the drivers meeting went on for entirely to long. I was paddocked in LOT A which was like a 5 minute scooter ride, I had to haul ***, swap tires, torque lugs, check pressures etc and basically ignored my checklist just to make grid. They were not allowing late entry if you showed up after the 1 minute mark.

That's why you prep the night before, immediately after your last session, etc....in other words, don't leave the car until it is DONE! Or have your crew chief/wife do it! LOL!!

Meh, it didn't rain all day and then decided to rain during the drivers meeting... so... can't really prepare for that but I get what you're saying.

Good times, with the tidbits of info from Louis, Paul and Oli (which was my direct competitor) I was able to podium! Huge help from a lot of folks here scrambling to get the car together! Very little testing but the confidence of a couple thanks from Louis and the gang with shocks and aero did not disappoint!

i managed a 2:24.7 behind Oli’s 2:24.2. A local in a jam up 2k lb lotus took us both at a 2:23.7
