Default Sarah gets her GS, ZR1 to Nevada, WGG Corvette to Ohio.9/16/18 Mike Furman@Criswell**

~C5 was the start of the generation talk for Corvettes. It wasn't until then the term C anything even existed. On that note I started with Corvettes
during the tail end of the 3rd Generation (1978) and sold thru the announcements of the 4th,5th,6th,7th and soon hopefully the 8th Generation
of America's #1 Sports Car. This will be my 6th generation of Corvette selling whenever GM decides to announce the Mid Engine Corvette if indeed
it will be the C8... and I'm only 58 but I feel much older in Corvette years! I like to call that experienced instead of old! I'm having fun one Corvette delivery at a time
and never would think after passing 4,000 Corvettes delivered this past April that the next milestone of 5,000 delivered could come sooner than expected.
Check out my Corvette dedicated web site www.corvettefurman.com for video's of delivery #3,000 and #4,000...I also have many "How to" videos on that web page.
*I've owned 18 Corvettes and two each of the 1st and 2nd generation and have certainly appraised for trade in my fair share of the oldies but goodies...the picture below is from 1989
when I was doing a trade appraisal on a 1958 Corvette. I am two years younger than this Corvette.

~I came back from vacation back in the 80's and found Gary Konner's business card on my desk.

~Richard M. Of Dayton, OHIO reached out to me about an in stock Watkins Glen Gray 2019 Corvette Cpe. We made the deal over the phone and he drove 640 miles to take delivery of his 2nd Corvette.
He just sold his Red ‘94 and couldn’t wait to get behind the wheel of his new C7. Option list includes: CF badge Pkg, 1LT Pkg, Auto trans, Performance exhaust and Black wheels.

~Sarah and Robert M. Of Columbia, Maryland purchased a 2019 white Convt From me in May and then placed a factory order for this Race Yellow ‘19 Grand Sport Cpe !
They are part of Two families all related that have purchased 8-10 Corvettes from me every year for the past several years.
This Grand Sport has the Auto trans, CF badge Pkg, yellow calipers, 1LT Pkg and Black Wheels. Their elders used to buy Corvettes from Malcolm Konner
Chevrolet back in the 80's!

~Thomas P. Of Santa Monica, California called me up 9 weeks ago to order one of the last Admiral Blue 2019 Corvette Grand Sport Convt’s built!
I had it drop shipped in to his local Chevrolet dealer and he just took courtesy delivery of it. Congrats and best of luck Tom, hope to meet you some day!
Maybe we will meet up at Spring Mountain in Nevada.

~Robert B. Of Fort Lauderdale, Florida factory ordered his new Silver 2019 Z06 Cpe to be drop shipped at a Chevrolet dealer him in southern Florida
and Monday he takes courtesy delivery of it. Robert is no stranger to beautiful sports cars...check out his wife’s Ferrari!

~Kevin C. Of Henderson,Nevada was on my deal list for a 2019 ZR1 but when I sent out a mass email Wednesday about Mr Criswell’s Sebring Orange 2019 ZR1 Convt
Demo with 1,502 miles on the odometer it only took him seconds to reply that he would buy it! The paperwork has been Fed Ex’d and by next week end it should be ready for Plycar Trucking to ship it to his Nevada home.

~Some other deliveries that left the yard this week...

Mike D. of Damascus, Maryland has been buying a new car from me every other year since 2002! Mike turns a young 79 next month!

~The paving crew that did this work must have had the Chevrolet heartbeat...

~The old Yenko Chevrolet showroom ...Yenko Chevrolet was a Chevrolet dealership located at 575 West Pike Street in Canonsburg,Pennsylvania. Operating between 1949 and 1982.

~The Frank Class Corvette throwback section. Enjoy and post up your favorite.

Enjoy the week!

I bet that person regrets trading in that beautiful '58.

Great pictures Mike. Had to choose this one.

there could be no other memorable pic for me than this.. thanks Mike. great read.

17 years ago. everyone at least in this country remembers exactly what they were doing and where they were when they first saw it or were told what was happening. Never Forget

I first visited that memorial on April 15, 2013... if you don't recall that date? google it. crazy how the universe works.

Fitting pic for this week's Thread Mike.. again, great job thank you.

Thanks for another week of photos and stories Mike!

Congrats. to all the new owners, Corvettes and other models too.

A lot of very sharp vehicles going home with their owners!

Favorite photo is the C1 with the gold colored leaves. Seems fall is just around the corner, and soon the trees will be turning their various shades of colors.

Nice shots I liked the transport with the 4 53s the best- one seventy fifth of the total output for 53.

Thank you Mike. Glad to see your are selling many new Corvettes. Really fun delivery thread today. I learned a lot, for I had never know that you could buy a security package for your C5.

Very cool thread, as always. Any of those great SWC shots are easily my favorites. BTW Mike, wondered where you were the last few Sundays and then someone told me you were in C7 Gen. Guess I can quit worrying now.
