There is no "Electric Limited"; its Lectric Limited.....either one will have excellent instructions and correct color coding...
If you're a novice then a set of Dr. Rebuild OOSOEZ pictorial color schematics for your year car are a boon.
They show the physical connectors and routing of everything and you'll use them for many years...
Search for them as I can't post a link to non-supporting vendor products per forum rules.

If you buy the harnes from Paragon you will get Lectric Limited harnes. And at a discount also when Dad last bought the complete harnes kit Paragon gave us that poster. But it’s still rolled up and we never used it.

M&H by far is the choice. Did this project a couple of months ago.
There is a real difference in the quality.

What is the quality difference? Better wire, better connectors?

Many years ago, Lectric Limited used plastic bulb holders on their dash harness where OEM ones were metal. They have since changed them. I've purchased 1,000's of dollars in harnesses from both suppliers and there is no difference in quality or correctness between the two. In fact, I just purchased every harness for the 65 I'm restoring from LL and they are perfect.

Is it possible they are BOTH made by M&H fabricators now. I believe the Breakerless SE is made by M&H but sold by lectric limited.

I don't think. a while back I was watching (I think My Classic Car) and there was a segment about how LL made there harness with same machines that delco used 50 odd years ago

Nope. They are two different company's. M&H supplies harnesses for a small number of cars compared to LL. I restored a 57 T-Bird for my wife and had to go with LL as M&H doesn't offer harnesses for any Ford product.

L L is what I used for the first time and what a time saver!
I have built several trucks with stand alone harnesses and the time factor is a killer but they are less expensive
You save all the labor on a ready-made harness that is the same color code as original
I wonder if the expense would be that great if they used printed wires just to make it even faster to install
I know that will not pass muster for a flight car but I would like to see that option just for a quick reference

Actually, all GM products used wiring harnesses provided by P.E.D. (Packard Electric Division of GM) in Warren, Ohio.

I have used both LL and M&H recently. The M&H is a little more money but worth it. The wire is the same but the little things add up. The connectors are better, the dash bulb sockets have a little longer wires, etc.

My car came with an unopened Classic Update harness from American Autowire. I thought it was very well made and very well suited the car, providing you followed their instructions. They were also helpful on the phone when I needed assistance. I would rate them quite satisfactory.
