Are you replacing it with a new stock radiator?

I just replaced my radiator on my 85 but I bought a dual core radiator from champion cooling, works better than the factory radiator.

I just installed a new aluminum radiator from Engineered Cooling Products.
They advised ahead of time that I would need to modify the plastic shroud, which I did.

It was quite a knuckle buster but I got it in.

One thing - There is a bung just below the upper transmission cooling line which I believe is for a "Low coolant level" sensor.
I don't have a sensor so I will have to add one, just to plug the hole. The hole has a collar and is not tapped. ECP advised that you can't tap the hole for a plug, as it will void the warranty.

I have a BE COOL radiator in my C3 and I have been very happy with it. I bought it and installed it 20 plus years ago and it has served my very Hot running C3 very well. I then bought the cooling fans and shroud from them as well. The parts fit like a glove and the install was easy. I will buy another one from Be Cool when my C4 radiator starts to leak, I hate those stupid plastic tanks on the ends of the factory radiator, that is where they like to leak I have been told. How much money did GM save by using the plastic tanks on one of Chevrolet's Premier cars?

Good luck with your Radiator and Condenser replacement! I hope you are a ROCK AUTO customer for those factory parts like the Fans for your Corvette. The Radiator you need to get from a quality aftermarket company, everything else you can get from Rock Auto and save a few bucks!
