Default Need help pricing , 1974 T-Top

Neighbor has a project Vette for sale , he is asking 2K . No front clip but everything else is there . 4 speed 350 . claims he has title and $2000 in new parts. seems like a good deal . No pictures or specifics yet . Hemmings has a 74 parts car value listed as $1200

unless your hanging the front clip for free after someone gave it you and paint it on the cheap I do not see how it makes any money sense
