Default Billy Boat or Corsa sound better?

I have not heard either in person and it’s hard to tell from YouTube videos.

I tend to like more more of a “muscle car” sound.

I had Borla on my last car but the drone was terrible.

B&B what? PRT or Fusions? B&B is definitely a deep muscle car sound...and if you're contemplating fusions, you keep top retain the function of the bi-mode exhaust which is a huge plus in my book. Love my fusions.

I guess I’m not sure what the difference is.

I just dont want an exhaust that’s as loud as say a “Borla Atak” or one of the other extreme off road systems.

B&B bullets will be the loudest...so drone. B&B PRT's and Fusions are essentially the same, except for one big difference...the fusions retain the factory function of bi-mode exhaust. So the exhaust has the ability to be quiet for around town or highway cruising. I'd say fusions are what you're looking for.

Do you get any drone with the PRT’s or Fusions?

Ive read that Corsa is the only one that truly has no drone and supposedly Borla has eliminated the drone from the Stinger line with the new S Type II.

Hearing from someone first hand that uses the product is always better IMO than what’s advertised.

PRT's would drone, but nowhere near the bullets. My fusions have no drone. I love driving the car with the valves open using a mild to wild switch...but when my wife is in the car, she prefers it to be quiet. That's the beauty of the fusions...like two systems in one.

B&B bullets are definitely not for everyone, if drone is an issue I’d pass on the bullets, especially if you can’t go catless. You don’t wanna be the guy posting “Bullets for sale” like new installed for two weeks way to loud and the drone....😂

Now if you want to scare women, small children the elderly and liberals dbags from 1/2 mile away.....B&B bullets are for you!!! I have them and just don’t care about how loud or drone or any of that. Most people aren’t if that mind set and would like a quite button and that’s understandable. Personally I like the B&B for a true deep American muscle sound, hard to beat them, PRT,Fusions or Bullets. Now if you want a unique yet still totally bad *** tone, look into the Akra’s stainless or if your feeling like making it rain corvette cash 💰💵 check out the full titanium set up. Akrapovics also have a chill mode button, it’s just gonna cost just a bit more lol.

I love my Corsa Sports. Not too loud during normal cruise but when you get on it is definately a muscle car sound. I removed my cats and it now actually sounds like open headers during full throttle pulls. Lots of burble and pop on decel. Even a flame here and there on decel. No drone. When my cats were on it was still loud during accel but more like the old glass pack exhaust sound then open headers. You either like the thumping loudness during accel or you don’t.

Had the bullets ( came on the Z06 ) them put on PRT's, and now it has the ZR1 exhaust on it. For me the bullets & PRT's were to loud & yes the PRT's were quiter but still to loud for me in my opinion & both had a considerable amount of drone, although the PRT's had a little bit less drone but still too much for me . I've never had Corsa so I can't comment on those. I do like the sound of the ZR1 exhaust with them open and then they're very quiet with them closed. I have the mild to wild so I leave it open all the time except for on the freeway. Hope this helps 👍

Quality sound is a personal choice.

Do you have or contemplate mods that will increase HP and sound to be dealt with?

I have the B&B Fusion IIIs (PN 0566) and am full HCI car (~600rwhp). I like to run the B&Bs open around town where I can keep the drone away by staying above 1800 RPm. On the highway I want the valves closed. I will get modest drone at 60-70 MPH in 6th, very little at 75 and gone by 80 MPH. I suspect these would all be less with a mostly stock Z06. I have gotten many unsolicited thumbs up on their sound. One fellow at the gas station volunteered: Now that is how a Corvette should sound.

its interesting depending what area you live in, I’ve got lots of random thumbs ups and “that’s what a vette should sound like” I hope with the C6 ZO6 getting more affordable by the day more people will buy them and throw some mods on. Way to many narrow body auto verts running around “the grandpa vette”

Have the Corsa Sport, love them. Quiet until 3k rpm. Then it opens up and screams outside. There’s no drone anywhere inside the car at any rpm. Love them.

I initially ordered the B&B PRT. Probably the best looking and crafted system. The drone was unbearable for me. Sounded wicked WFO. I kept it on for 3 weeks and ordered a Corsa axle back. No drone at all with Corsa. Even now with ARH, catted x-pipe and cam. Loud out back but quite up front! Kind of like a mullet

Be careful with replies like these, not doubting Z06FL's post but I as well as many other C6Z owners have had issues with Corsa droning after adding headers and a cam to the mix.

Not all cams are equal and not all ears are either but my car still drones with ARH 2" and a catted x pipe.

I've tried uncatted, catted, and tried the Corsa system or the OEM ZR1 system. The ZR1 system truly had zero drone whereas the Corsa has drone in a tiny window of 1550-1700 RPM.

What In-depth says is true! All ears are different and all set-ups are different! For me drone is that intense hi frequency buzzing inside the cabin at certain RPM’s. With the Corsa, I simply don’t have that!
With that said, I still think Corsa is your best bet, although the risk is there! Good luck!

+1 for Corsa

I've had the Sports on for several months and love them. Reasonable around town and really scream when you get on it. Virtually no drone at highway/cruising speeds either.
