Default Removing those Center Caps

Is it possible to remove the center caps without taking the wheels off? If so, how is it done without breaking or scratching anything?

TIA

I take it you've done this before with good results?

I have done the gorilla tape thing before. Cut length of tape and fold it in the middle to use as a handle. DO NOT close the ends. With the open sticky ends press them against the wheel cap, wait a minute and then yank hard. Of course it helps if the caps are dirt and wax free.

My car came with two sets of center caps.

The duct tape method works well, too.

Notice how I point the C7 logo to the air valve stem.

The guy at Discount Tire did that for me the last time I had wheels mounted. I’d read somewhere that it’s a “thing” among car aficionados.

Thanks all for your responses.

My new center caps came today so I went out and on your advice, slipped a credit card (actually my Costco card) between the wheel and the edge of the old cap. Came off in just few seconds. Easiest mod ever! Inserted the new chrome set and voila! Whole new look for my wheels. I never did like the argent/gray-colored caps with the crossed flags. If anybody wants that set, I'll sell 'em to you for cheap.
