Default Po 2's

Since my 71 project is an original number matching car I would like to know if PO2's were an option for that year.

Thank You

ok, what rim do PO2 go on? rallys or standard wheels, or either? and I assume since you are scratching rallys with centers and trim rings it isn't blasphemy to snap a PO2 on them?

Hi Derek,
My understanding is that there is only one wheel that came on C3 Corvettes, at least '68 - '72. It is the standard rallye wheel with five oval slots around the center. It came standard with the rallye center cap and trim ring. If you ordered the PO2 option, you got wheel the cover which fits over the rallye wheel -- without the center cap and trim ring. Anyone know if that is correct?

On my 73, I alternate between trim rings/center caps and PO2’s every year. I have the original rally wheels. Fran

I like the PO1's/2's...had them on a '68 coupe. But, I only like them with thin white (or red/blue/gold) wall tires. They just don't look right with RWL tires. The opposite is true for the rally wheels. Just the way I see it....

That's pretty neat to have both options. Changes up the look so it always looks fresh. I like it! Bill, WW would look different but nice on your pretty red car, nice!
Cool shot Roma
